AUTO ELECTRICAL
The Auto Electrical kit is available either as a stand alone unit or as an addition to the workstation. The stand alone unit is depicted here. A specially chosen battery is supplied which must be charged and maintained as a normal automotive battery. This battery is then fed through the ignition switch and is used to power all the components in this "negative earth" electrical system

N.B. The educational contents of the outcome based manuals are generic since wiring of the same circuit may take many different forms and relies on individual preference. More complicated wiring such as that of the ignition system, the tachometer, thermostat, wiper delay, etc, have their own wiring instructions although even here personal preferences are acceptable. Actual "jobs" shown with a star require a real car to practice on.
