Gears and Gear Trains Apparatus

With this set the specific function and operating mode of gear trains can be visualised. The transmission ratio of the revolutions and torques are clearly explained on single- and multistage gearings. The effect of intermediate wheels is also shown.

The experiments can be quickly restructured since the required components need only to be pressed together. An aluminum sectional rail is used as the basic element. It is attached to the sheet of the apparatus for statics experiments with quick fastening clips. The flexibility of the parts set makes it well suited for demonstrational use.
