The Pert Unifridge Refrigeration Trainer

The Pert Refrigeration Trainer was specially developed in response to the growing need for air conditioning and refrigeration training in Southern African Technikons and Technical Colleges. Refrigeration is rapidly becoming a major industry throughout Southern Africa and there is an urgent need for qualified technicians.

As with all Pert equipment, the Unifridge makes the implicit explicit. It is hands-on and practical with a variety of on board experimental procedures, covering the theory and application of the refrigeration cycle. The fault insertion and instrumentation panels are specially designed for didactic troubleshooting and efficiency diagnosis.

The unit can be configured either for domestic or for commercial refrigeration or for both. It includes a separate compressor to teach re-gassing procedure.

The PERT Unifridge comes complete with an outcomes based modular course. Instructor training is available on request.
